Ever since Daphne was little, she loved getting surprised. What might startle or make another baby cry, always brought Daphne into a fit of giggles. In that way, Daphne has always been open to the unknown. she has always been our little adventurer. The world is filled with endless possibilities for our curious girl.

 

Daphne has so many interests. She likes playing with her dolls, doing science experiments with pop, making pizza with daddy, singing nursery rhymes in the car, and playing hide and seek. She is currently in an independent stage and wants to do everything on her own - from getting buckled into her car seat to getting a snack from the fridge. Daphne is always excited to try something new, but she must try it first on her own before getting any help.

 

Daphne fills every day with love. She will often say, “I love you,” unprompted, and you can feel that she understands what love is when she says it. Daphne’s endless love extends to our families, our pets, and her friends. we have taught her about adoption and how we want to welcome a new baby into our family. our conversations about adopting a baby are always met with joy from Daphne, and she insists that when we adopt, THEY will be her baby too.

 

Daphne loves her life with her daddy and pop. She gets to be thoughtful and creative with daddy, and she gets to be silly and messy with pop. Daphne loves getting “double daddy kisses,” where we kiss her on both cheeks at the same time. She loves her life with our little family and she is ready for the next adventurer to join our little family!
